rating from the federal government in Patient Experience for the sixth year in a row<\/b>. Out of 3,478 eligible hospitals across 50 states, The Spine Hospital was one of just 266 U.S. hospitals to receive the top rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal;\"><b>In 2020, The Spine Hospital was one of only 2 hospitals in Baton Rouge and 15 hospitals statewide to receive a 5 star rating.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-style: normal;\">The five-star rating granted to The Spine Hospital of Louisiana is based on the CMS\u2019 Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Provider and System (HCAHPS) survey and data collected between Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019. The standardized survey asks discharged patients a series of questions about their recent hospital stay, including core questions about critical aspects of patients&#8217; hospital experiences. HCAHPS Star Ratings then summarize the results of this survey to make it easier for consumers to use the information when choosing a healthcare provider. Hospitals across the nation are given a star rating ranging between 1 (lowest) and 5 (highest).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;
