Dr. Fautheree received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Fautheree completed his internship in surgery, residency in neurosurgery, and fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville before returning home to South Louisiana.
Dr. Fautheree joined The NeuroMedical Center in September 2010 and is board certified in neurological surgery. As one of Louisiana’s top brain and spine surgeons, Dr. Fautheree’s advanced skill in minimally invasive, laser and complex surgery techniques provides him with the insight and experience to provide the most appropriate and effective treatment for all neurological conditions, from brain tumors and aneurysms, to back and neck pain. Dr. Fautheree credits his thriving practice’s enduring success to a conservative, patient-first philosophy and a strong commitment to making sure his patients are comfortable and well-informed regarding their diagnosis and treatment options.
Dr. Fautheree is President of The NeuroMedical Center Clinic, Chief of Staff for The Spine Hospital of Louisiana, and sits on Surgery Steering Committees at Our Lady of the Lake and Baton Rouge General Hospital. He is an active member of several professional organizations including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, The Joint Section of Cerebrovascular Surgery, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society.
Dr. Fautheree is currently accepting new patients, offering his services in Baton Rouge and at The NeuroMedical Center’s satellite locations in Gonzales and St. Francisville.
